Network Security & Fundamentals of WLANs End-of-Life
For those of you interested in this, three Cisco courses have recently entered end-of-life.
Here is an excerpt from their announcement:
END OF LIFE FOR NETWORK SECURITY 1, NETWORK SECURITY 2, AND FUNDAMENTALS
OF WIRELESS LANS
Cisco Networking Academy has announced the end-of-life dates for the
following courses:
* NETWORK SECURITY 1 (NS1)
* NETWORK SECURITY 2 (NS2)
* FUNDAMENTALS OF WIRELESS LANS (WLANS)
The last day to create new instructor classes for these courses is
NOVEMBER 30, 2009. The last day to create new student classes for these
courses is JULY 31, 2010. The Networking Academy Support Desk will continue
to provide Academy Connection support for these courses until JULY 31,
2010.
Academies are encouraged to offer the new CCNA Security course that was
released on July 24, 2009. CCNA Security provides more up-to-date and
relevant content and helps students prepare for the Cisco CCNA Security
certification.
