Finally, some nicer weather! I was starting to freak out about the “quality” of the weather here, because ever since i’ve been here, i’ve constantly “enjoyed” rainy days, harsh blizzards, and mostly those cloudy days when you look at the sky and you can’t tell where the sun is. I’ve n
ever seen bad weather in any of those stupid college-talent American movies; students always get to sit on the grass, never wear an umbrella… and never step in mud from their first step out.
I wanted to feel it too… what good is freedom if you can only rub mint indoors? I make my own schedule, i choose my own food and i want to have my own nice walks just as i like them.
I found that the campus is a great place for spending late afternoons, thanks to the late sunsets. Far from the streets and thankfully next to a not so technologically advaced university to introduce a pollution problem, even the dogs are peaceful at that time. And i suddently realised that not only leaving school, but also coming to (!) it has become almost a pleasant thing. The beautiful smell at night, of blooming trees, after 3 hours of programming on crappy computers, is undoubtly worth every effort to stay late and work. Or maybe it is just my sensitive way of being, at that time.
Some said the city isn’t quite right for long walks in unknown places. I’ve done some, a couple of times, and it didn’t get me so scared :). I need that psychological effect, and the need is above all warnings. It’s a start, anyway, i still have much to explore (fog of war everywhere :P) and not many expectations… at least not until i hope to get to do the same thing over and over on Champs Elysees, until i get sick of it. But that’s far away, in time and space, and, for the moment, my request for Bucharest weekends is “shine, baby, shine!”. 
As for the walks, well, i can’t have them just as i like them… i’m still missing someone.
